Jawaher Al-Bader, Ph.D. Is an art educational expert in Studio-based instruction. She was awarded the Art and Design Educator award in 2022 from RISD Alumni Association. She received her Ph.D. in Curriculum Instruction in Art Education from ASU. Dr. Al- Bader was awarded a KFAS grant to study at U.C. Berkley in their Teaching for Excellence Program. She was a faculty member at the Department of Visual Communication Design at Kuwait University for over 20 years. She is a cofounder of Art Studio Kuwait and is involved in community-based educational activities. Dr. Al-Bader also holds an MFA with distinction in Painting from Pratt Institute. Her MFA installation titled Suspended Enclosures explored the multidimensionality of spaces. Her undergraduate degrees from Rhode Island School of Design include a BArch a BFA a concentration in Art History. She has designed، organized and conducted multiple workshops with Kuwait University faculty members focused on innovative teaching and learning methods.
د. جواهر البدر: خبير في التربية الفنية في الاستوديو حصلت على جائزة معلم الفن والتصميم عام ٢٠٢٢ من جمعية خريجي RISD. حصلت على درجة الدكتوراه في مناهج تدريس التربية الفنية من جامعة ولاية أريزونا. حصلت على منحة مؤسسة الكويت للتقدم العلمي للدراسة في جامعة كاليفورنيا- بيركلي في برنامج التدريس من أجل التميز. كانت د. جواهر البدر عض ًوا في هيئة التدريس في قسم تصميم الاتصالات المرئية في جامعة الكويت لأكثر من ٢٠ عا ًما، وهي أحد مؤسسي آرت ستوديو الكويت وتشارك في الأنشطة التعليمية المجتمعية. حصلت د. البدر أيضا على درجة الماجستير في الرسم بامتياز في الرسم من معهد برات. استكشف تركيبها BFA بعنوان "المرفقات المعلقة" تعدد أبعاد المساحات. تشمل درجات البكالوريوس من كلية رود آيلاند للتصميم BArch على منتدى بواو الآسيوى التركيز في تاريخ الفن. لقد صممت العديد من ورش العمل المنظمة وأجرت العديد أيضاً من ورش العمل مع أعضاء هيئة التدريس في جامعة الكويت والتي ركزت على أساليب التدريس والتعلم المبتكرة.
Robert Gurney is a sculptor, architect, and an urban planner. He graduated with a BFA, BArch, and a HAC from RISD. He practiced as an architect, urban planner, and a construction manager until he received his MUEP from ASU in 2012. His work ranges from small-scale jewelry designs, and furniture to medium scale interior design projects of health facilities, offices, restaurants, and single-family villas, to large educational campuses, 80+ story residential high-rises in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, and a large-scale urban planning project in Amman, Jordan. Currently, he is a practing architect, artist, and Art and Design Educator in Kuwait.
روبرت جورني: نحات ومهندس معماري ومخطط حضري. تخرج بدرجة BFA وHAC BArch من RISD. مارس عمله كمهندس معماري ومخطط حضري ومدير إنشاءات حتى حصل على شهادته MUEPمن جامعة ولاية أريزونا عام ٢٠١٢. وتتراوح أعماله بين المجوهرات الصغيرة الحجم والتصاميم والأثاث لمشاريع التصميم الداخلي الصحية متوسطة الحجم والمرافق والمكاتب والمطاعم والفلل لأسرة واحدة، إلى الجامعات التعليمية الكبيرة، والمباني السكنية الشاهقة التي تزيد على .٨ طابقا في أبوظبي ودبي، ومشروع تخطيط حضري واسع النطاق في عمان- الأردن. يعمل حال ًيا مهندسا معماريًا وفنانًا ومعل ًما للفنون والتصميم في الكويت
Dr. Fahad Dhawi is an Assistant Professor of Typography and Graphic Communication Design in Kuwait. He holds a Ph.D. degree from Central Saint Martins, UAL London, M.A in Graphic Design (Distinction) in 2012 from Coventry University, UK and B.A in Graphic design (Cum Laude) in 2009 with a minor in Communication from the American University of Kuwait. Dr Dhawi’s practice-based research project highlighted the importance of Arabic Typography and Graphic Communication in language learning and how teaching Arabic can be further ‘simplified’ through a creative visual pedagogic approach. His research re-established the term "educational typefaces" with the aim to possibly open up future research on the role of design and typography through the creation of educational typefaces - in visual pedagogy and interdisciplinary design.
د. فهد الضاوي، أستاذ مساعد في التصميم التيابوغرافي وتصميم الاتصال الجرافيكي في الكويت. حاصل على درجة الدكتوراه من سنترال سانت مارتينز، UAL لندن، وماجستير في التصميم الجرافيكي) بامتياز( في عام ٢٠١٢ من جامعة كوفنتري، المملكة المتحدة، وبكالوريوس في التصميم الجرافيكي) بامتياز( في عام ٢٠٠٩ مع تخصص ثانوي في الاتصالات من الجامعة الأمريكية في الكويت. سلط مشروع د. الضاوي الضوء على أهمية فن الحروف الطباعية العربية) التيابوغرافي ( والتواصل المرئي في تعلم اللغة العربية وكيفية "تبسيطها" وتدريسها بشكل أكبر من خلال نهج تربوي بصري إبداعي يشمل استخدام ادوات التصميم المرئي وفن التايبوغرافي كأدوات تعليمية. أعاد بحثه تأسيس مصطلح "الخطوط التعليمية" بهدف فتح بحث مستقبلي حول دور الغرافكس والتيابغرافيا في تعلم اللغة من خلال إنشاء الخطوط التعليمية - في أصول التدريس المرئي والتصميم متعدد التخصصات.
YADAWI is a talented and diverse collection of creatives striving for a more expansive and vibrant community since 2003, when the idea germinated to being the first center of its kind in the region. Founder Lubna Saif Abbas envisioned a revival and appreciation of traditional applications interpreted in a contemporary and sustainable approach. We offer a wide array of artistic outlets showcasing art glass design, production and making as well as fiber and textile arts, printmaking, fine arts and calligraphy. Our mission is to expand the repertoire of creative action via experiences from workshops, live demonstrations apprenticeship programs, residencies & community engagement. We strive to act as a safe and welcoming space for all ages, nourishing their own imagination, creativity, and pushing their limits to make and create projects of authenticity and meaning in a sustainable format.
يدوي هي مجموعة موهوبة ومتنوعة من المبدعين الذين يسعون جاهدين من أجل مجتمع أكثر اتساع ا وحيوية. منذ عام ٢٠٠٣ عندما نشأت الفكرة لتصبح المركز الأول من نوعه في المنطقة. تصورت المؤسسة لبنى سيف عباس إحياء وتقدير التطبيقات التقليدية التي يتم تفسيرها بأسلوب معاصر ومستدام. نحن نقدم مجموعة واسعة من المنافذ الفنية التي تعرض تصميم وإنتاج وتصنيع فن الزجاج بالإضافة الى فنون الألياف والنسيج والطباعة والفنون الجميلة والخط.مهمتنا هي توسيع ذخيرة العمل الإبداعي من خلال الخبرات من ورش العمل، وبرامج التلمذة الصناعية العروض الحية، والإقامات والمشاركة المجتمعية. نحن نسعى جاهدين لتكون بمثابة مساحة آمنة ومرحبة لجميع الأعمار، وتغذية خيالهم وإبداعهم ودفع حدودهم لإنشاء وإنشاء مشاريع ذات أصالة ومعنى في شكل مستدام.
Gabriel Feld is an architect, artist, and teacher. He is a professor at Rhode Island School of Design since 1990, serving as head of the architecture department (1997-2002) and chief critic of the European Honors Program in Rome (2014-16). His artwork printmaking and installation has been exhibited in the US. Argentina, Europe, and China. He received his architecture diploma from the Universidad de Buenos Aires in 1980 and his master’s in architecture from Harvard University in 1988.

Thomas Bosket was awarded his MFA from Yale University in 1995 and is regarded by the New York Times as one of the world's leading color theory experts. He has pursued drawing, as a human behavior rather than a product, and explored how it plays a dominant role in supporting creative learning environments such as his recent venture ENGN connecting civics, art, and life.

Kelli Glancey is an artist, printmaker, illustrator and educator. She graduated with honors in 1988 from Parsons School of Design with a BFA in Illustration. She has been a professor at Parsons since 2004 while also working as a commercial artist and designer. She teaches Introduction to Printmaking and Mono-print Narrative in the Art Media and Technology program and has also taught Drawing and Color Theory.(2004-2021). Her limited edition prints have been exhibited throughout the east coast of the USA as well as internationally in Europe and Japan. In 2022 she received an Individual Artist Fellowship Grant for her excellence in printmaking and contribution to the arts in her native state of New Jersey
كيلي غلانسي: فنانة وصانعة طباعة ورسامة ومعلمة. تخرجت بمرتبة الشرف عام 1988 من مدرسة بارسونز للتصميم وحصلت على بكالوريوس الفنون الجميلة في الرسم التوضيحي. عملت أستاذة في جامعة بارسونز منذ عام 2004 بينما كانت تعمل أيضًا كفنانة ومصممة تجارية. تقوم بتدريس مقدمة في الطباعة والسرد الأحادي الطباعة في برنامج الوسائط الفنية والتكنولوجيا، كما قامت بتدريس نظرية الرسم والألوان (2004-2021). تم عرض مطبوعاتها ذات الإصدار المحدود في جميع أنحاء الساحل الشرقي للولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وكذلك على المستوى الدولي في أوروبا واليابان. في عام 2022، حصلت على منحة زمالة الفنان الفردي لتميّزها في صناعة الطباعة والمساهمة في الفنون في ولايتها الأصلية نيوجيرسي.
